Immediately, we held a positioning workshop to unify disparate ideas in the corporate positioning and mission; the resulting summary became the foundation for all marketing/ communications efforts.

Additionally, we came up with lists of potential company names that tied in with the new positioning (moving the company from more of a business-to-consumer focus to a business-to-business focus) and worked with attorneys to conduct legal searches as well as domain name searches.

While the creative team of a sister-agency worked tirelessly on the logo, graphics, marketing collateral, presentation materials and Web site, the PR team extensively researched business-to-business e-commerce and developed an extensive database, including analysts, trade and business press. In addition, we developed a complete press kit including a corporate fact sheet, corporate backgrounder, frequently asked questions and executive bios. We also worked in concert with the creative team on the presentation to be used on press tour in preparation for the launch of Orders of Magnitude, contacted analysts and media to schedule a week long press tour.

Efforts culminated with a week long tour with all new collateral with over 15 appointments with key industry editors and analysts in preparation of its first product launch of Orders of Magnitude.
